R8 V8 intake body on RS4?

Post by tartan_rob » Wed May 12, 2010 11:06 am

Does the R8 intake body fit? It has twin entry? Maybe worth some extra gains?

Anyone know?

Similar in design to the one on the RS5?

Funny how the R8 V8 has a twin plenum chamber and still producers the same power out put as the RS4 lump, you would have thought it would have more more tunable, or is it? Has any one seen massive gains from the V8 R8?

they have both been dyno'ed and have similar wheel power
reinforces to me air supply is not a real issue on this engine...
at least up to 7800 or so...

I would like an RS5 set-up just for the 'look', cool

there is something so 'right' with 6 TB's in an M3...
but honestly, the RS4 revs as well as an e46 M3, which is saying something...
