There was only one special edition white pack RS4 saloon brought into the country and I don't think that is it as if it were true optics pack it would allso have matt black exhaust tips. Also the one spec. edn. had white seat backs to the buckets and IIRC white panel inserts.

That and it looks like the wheel colour is wrong, too black if that makes sense. It looks like someone has gone to a lot of trouble to change that car and made a decent job. Spec on it isn't much over standard either.

But of like you say it ticks the boxes for you and is mechanically sound then go for it.

I went to look at a white RS4 last December 2009 at this company which i believe is the one in question (not 100%) as i had been looking to purchase a good spec RS4 for 3 mths at the time i thought WOW a white edition it was at a price of £39000 but with money no object i thought if the car is right (at the time the car had 9000miles) great, so off i went with a good friend who is a qualified body technician to have a look over the car, when i arrived at the car i thought great the car looks well, but as you walk around the car a few times, and with advice of the good friend i had taken, to view the car, i could tell the car had been resprayed all over, even the roof had been painted black, you could see paint runs just above the windscreen in places, and more yu looked around the car more you noticed, and the company even had 2 other RS4 for sale and i you walked up top them, and just turned around and walked away thinking what a shame, but one good thing came out of it, on the way back from Keighley i thought i would call into Bradford Audi, and low and behould they had just got in a RS4 that had been part ex'd for a R8 one owner from new with only 13,000 miles in black with the black optics kit, one look around it you could tell it was 100% genuine i thought nice il av it!!
