It looks like from the responses thus far we are not going to get everyone on the same schedule, so of the people interested I am suggesting starting off on either Friday May 21st or May 28th. Taking into account comments on schedule I would also propose that dependent on cost of ferries, those of us in the North could cross at Hull and then make our way to the Ring and meet those from the South who go via Eurotunnel and make the Ring our covergence point on the Saturday 22nd / 29th. Then the schedule would be;

Day 1 (Saturday)
drive to Nurburgring (300 miles), lunch and a lap or two round track. Freshen up, stay near the ring first night

Day 2 (Sunday)
Early Drive drive down to Ingolstadt (300 miles) Tour round Ingolstadt in the afternoon, stay in B&B just outside Audi HQ

Day 3 (Monday)
Drive down to and stay at Davos (233 miles) Davos via Stelvio Via Bormio, play on Stelvio pass for a while, stay in Davos overnight

Day 4 (Tuesday)
Second go at Stelvio, take in views, pics, drive down to and stay near Lake Garda (203 miles)

Day 5 (Wednesday)
Lake Garda to Lake Como up to St. Moritz and finish up in Zurich. (203 miles)

Day 6 (Thursday)
Zurich back to the coast with Zurch being the point where we break convoy; duty free shopping, back to Blighty.

Dependent on if and when we can get a tour round Ingolstadt, we could delay the whole thing by a day travelling Saturday night and returning to the UK on a Friday with Ingolstadt on the Monday rather than Sunday.

So based on the above, could people confirm if they are still interested and if anyone would be up for contacting Audi to arrange the tour of the factory as I think I may have my hands full booking accommodation; prices and details of which to follow.

Only potential problem may be the Sunday tour round the factory.

You are right, but then until we know we can get tour round the factory and it won't cost us a fortune we can't confirm which will be the first day really. It may be cheaper to travel via Eurostar and ferry Sunday morning / Saturday night respectively anyway.
