Spacers and Short Shift

Post by PJI » Tue Oct 13, 2009 4:17 pm

Couple of newbie questions.

Can anyone tell me where to buy the above from?

Is there much difference between 8mm and 10mm spacers and is the short shift worth buying? I had always intended buying one for my 996 but there were always more negative opinion regarding this than positive. Whats the general opinion with the B7?

Many thanks

Paul

2 option IMO on the short shifter

JHM which I have a highly rate http://www.jhmotorsports.com/

or the Stratmophere one which is also very good. http://www.stratmosphere.com/strat_short_shifters.htm

Spacers wise H&R and pretty good and you can buy them from europerformance. I wouldn't go for 10's all-round 10's on the rear work well and either 8mm or 6mm on the front. just make sure you get the hub centric ones that are 150mm diameter.

hope that helps
