They are probably saying that because they can't afford it. What should you be in for your age? Golf? Trumpped up Corsa? Imprezza?

its a very cool, competent and quick car but quite discrete. Its not one thats obvious for the boy racers to go mad over. If you had an EVO X, Impreza or new M3 I think your mates would be more impressed. They are probably a little bit envious.

Im 30 and have just come from an R32. Wanted to distance myself from Hot hatches, just a personal choice, they are great cars hot hatches but I didnt like the image anymore and wanted something a bit more grown up.

The RS4 has been terrific. Its an awesome car but is very understated. It does everything you need but more quiety than the other cars (literally, I want a milltek non-res!). I have got major thumbs up from my friends with AMG mercedes (C63 and E55), and my brother thought it was pretty amazing when I took him out for a "quick!" drive in the wet, he was mighty impressed with the handling/grip, sound and performance, said it trounced his boss' E92 M3 (in terms of grip and sound) but we know they are really close anyways in terms of speed. My brother has owned a few porsches including the 996 turbo from new so I take his opinion seriously.

Oh and the ladies seem to think its pretty f**kin awesome too! Having a sweet ride which doesnt scream Max power is a good thing in their book.

Dont worry about it mate, just enjoy the car. You've got a cracker!

Its a big boys toy, regardless of age any one can have one. I bought mine when i was 29 and own mine out right. Im 31 now single, no kids (still young at heart), tell your mate to ram it lol
Money can't buy you love, but it can buy you a well sorted racecar

Ive just turned 35 and its the best car ive owned period. Its fast enough, handles really well, very confidence inspiring, sounds amazing, manual box good, looks wide and squat and mean, preactical. I cannot think what i could replace it with????? definate long term car.

Thanx guyes, its really made me feel alot beter now i think all you people rate your vehicles at a high standard.
I paid for mine outright, it all happend so quick. Saw it advertised, went the following sat, test drove it, (bare in mind i only drive a van all times) after a 30 min drive i gave him a bankers draft, he gave me the keys! Didnt even get the car checked out only a HPI check and thats all.
The guy was cool, genuine business man.
Another thing i may need some advise on is the spec. It has SS+, rear elec blind, side manual, TV, gas discharge lights, adaptives, Sat nav, Flat bottom, Buckets, and all other stANDARD stuff. Is this a reasonable spec or can i have more??? ooh yea, Milltek non res, paid by me 2 weeks ago, wow!
