Car reversed in to at the weekend leaving a small dent / crease line on the rear bumper.
Can bumpers be repaired by Dentmaster or similar ?
Anyone in Scotland recommend a good operator ?
Thanks in advance for info.

I don't think Dentmaster will be able to repair because it is plastic so once deformed will pretty much stay that way. When someon one 'bumped' me the rear bumper had to be replaced for a score mark and because the paint was taken off. It could be done with filler, profiled and resprayed but would have to e a good job.
Did you reverse into it or someone hit you?

Afraid not, mine was an insurance job. I wouldn't have though any more than £1k though for a new bumper, respray and fitting, the bumper being the expensive bit although some new ones on fleabay or try Trade Parts Specialists / dsgwagen (all cheaper than Audi) etc .HeavyTraffic wrote:Someone reversed into me while my car was parked.
Do you P_G, remember the cost of replacement ?
Must be the season for it.
Just got mine back after a young lady ran into the back of mine.
Replacement of bumper, and a small fettle to the rear tailgate was around £1100.
Despite smashing her bumper, re-alaigning her headlights and bending her bonet, I only appeared to have a small scuff on my bumper.
However, there are crumple fins behind the bumper that were mashed - hence the new one. Once the bumper was off, you could then see the small crease in the tailgate. All in all very annoying.
The "like for like" replacement ( An S-Class Merc!) cost more than the repair!
