iphone compatable?

i have got an 08 plate with the phone prep in the armrest...tried to use blue tooth, but everyone i call says that they cant hear me...would like to have it plumbed in if poss...any ideas??...really frustrating to have such a car and the phone is rubbish..maybe i should get a parrot fitted..i dont mind doing this, but it would be nice to use the factory fitted option...

I use my iPhone with the oe Bluetooth and both are great, have you tried re-pairing them both?

I will try re pairing them tonight...hope it works..i must say that i tried this on my previous car..an 65 plate RS4 ..and had rthe same trouble.....but worth a try?

Was it with the same phone? If so I would check the phone out as I know others who have no problem using the iPhone with rns-e.

The only other thing It could be is an aftermarket Bluetooth unit in your car but this shouldn't be the case if it's an oe installation...If all else fails take it to the dealer as you don't want a Parrot unit bolted to the dash if you can aviod it!

Just a thought, have you looked at the mic (stored next to the map lights) as if all is pairing well and it's audio that's the problem it could well be this.
