Thanks for all the great comments, my beloved RS4 has now gone to its new owner who I am sure will be on the forums pretty soon, I have enjoyed reading the forums on RS246, hope all you owners make the most of your cars, my only advice get yourselves to the NURBURGRING and really understand just how the RS4 can perform (who really drives a rolling road) !!!! have fun see you soon Pete

I picked this car up last week!! Absolutely love it to bits. Was gutted a couple of weeks ago after having to sell my guards red Cayman S due to a new addition but this has definately filled the gap the Cayman left and more. Well impressed with the straight line performance. Beats the Porsche hands down. Porsche was awsome through the corners and on track but I haven't really had chance to exploit the RS yet. Anything I should be weary of or does the quattro look after any mishaps?
As I am a newbie I'm sure I'll be asking plenty of new questions.

Quattro can't change the laws of physics so you can still get into trouble - but you'll be going VERY quick when that happens.
IMHO the biggest difference is in the wet, and especially when it's icy, when it's so much easier to make safe progress instead of spinning wheels and remaining stationary or pirouetting in circles.
