Guys, I've been trawling thru ads from autotrader, Ph, and Audi's own website for a decent RS4s, and have found these 2 RS4s.
My ideal RS4 would be an Avant with either Avus silver or Daytona grey, I also think the Avant would hold the value much better in the long run and has better practicality..

This one an Avant, but Sprint Blue..not my ideal colour

This one Avus Silver 4dr saloon, but it looks immaculate and seem good value..

I know the ultimate decision is mine to make, but would still like the massive opinions on these two cars.... :?

Or should I just wait for the right one to come along? Which could mean months :(

Like the saloon - and not a bad price from a Stealer.

I was similar to you and when looking to buy an RS4 Avant only really wanted to consider Mugello Blue or Daytona Grey. However a Sprint Blue Avant at an offer too good to miss came along. I bought and have never regretted it, the sprint blue does change colour in different light conditions and loads of people comment favourably on the colour too. The colour would grow on you if it has the right spec.

Just a pity my other half decided to buy a Sprint Blue A2 Colourstorm as well!

After all, you'll be inside it most of the time so you won't see the colour that much!

Sprint blue was too close to a certain Scottish football team so my wife veto'd it and ended up with Mugello.....
but as PG has said - once your inside you won't see the colour.

I am in a similar position; my experience says try to be as flexible on colour as you can - as you say you wait a very! long time for the exact options you want to come round again and tbh you very rarely see a B7 RS4 and think that colour doesn't suit it.

Actually mine better spec, absolutely love the car. But cant afford to keep it with the way the job market looks i will have to release some funds. On the bright side whoever will buy the car will get it it 100% mint, and when the time is right ill buy another.
Ive had M3's & AMG but the build on these cars are just like no other. I call it the Lambo chaser.

kiN...there are a couple of cheap(ish) sprint blues on autotrader - below your budget.

I got made redundant in April so I think I know where you're coming from. Don't rush into any decisions - especially whether to sell your RS4.

Look at all your finances to work out ways to reduce costs, maximise benefits you can claim, etc. Why not look at putting the RS4 on SORN? That makes the running costs zero and reduces the insurance costs. Look in your garage and your loft - you'll be amazed how much some of the stuff that you never use will sell for on eBay, on other websites and at car boot sales.

I've done all of that and worked out how to keep my RS4 and "weather the storm" for more than a year - and if the job market is still rubbish then, I'll retrain at the local university to become a science teacher! And get a nice grant from the Government for doing so.

Thanks mate, thats why im giving myself 1 month to see how i cope. But if i get an offer i cant refuse after that then i will contemplate suicide and sell. Otherwise ill hang on and keep it for as long as i can

I am really sorry to hear that, I know the feeling.
Sold my beloved Morgan thinking I was going to be made redundant last year, (didn't in the end)
Goes like fook, and sounds awesome!!!
