Don't worry Gazzer, from the reviews I have read including that one all TT-RS drivers will have their nervous systems detached from the brains such is the general consensus that it is uninvolving so they'll be no competition.

And as much as it does sound good, it is no V8.

Did you notice, the sound clip was a manual car though?
S tronic must be an option

There is no S-Tronic/DSG because that system can only handle up to 260 ft/lbs of torque and the TT-RS has 332, only manual which is supposedly notchy and Tiptronic and that isn't the best.

I have to say I could be tempted by one of these.........

what is good news is that Audi and other brands are starting to look at smaller engines with turbo/superchargers, with any luck the b9 RS4 will be a turbo and if it is I know where my money will be going.....

I just wish they would take some of the technology from Bugatti to uprate S-Tronic to take large torque loads, 260 ftlbs nowadays is weedy

A forced induction RS with S-Tronic and Magentic ride would be heaven.

Not convince on the Magnetic ride, when I had an R8 for a week I really didn't get on with it. In fact hand on heart I wouldn't have swapped my RS for it.

An RS with a suspension system that works and is reliable would be nice though agreed!

The S4 has S-tronic and over 330ft lb of torque - I think you'll find that the internals of the DSG have been strengthened recently

I wonder then if it is because the TT-RS 5 cylinder is tranversely mounted rather than longitudinally? I was quoting two articles who quoted torque limitations as the reason the TT-RS didn't have S-Tronic, should have thought about the S4.
