I did try cars with both fitted and both my wife and kids said that when the bucket seat was adjusted for me (6 ft 4"), there was def more room than with the recaros.

Strange - most people find quite the opposite...

The recaros are thicker seats - the buckets are thinner but do have a harder back.

Someone want to measure the thickness of their bucket seat back and I'll do the same on the sports seat? IIRC the design of the bucket is that the whole seat back sits almost behind the base section and has a thicker back plate to accomodate the gear for the side bolster inflator units, whereas the sports seat the back is contoured to sit on the top of the base section hence why it is narrower and allows more rear leg room.

The perfect spec I would say !! Im running exactly that now and when I was looking albeit 18 months ago now there were not as many as I thought around so I did pay a premium for what I wanted. That said and if you dont mind me asking whats your budget? I do know one other owner that might be looking to sell

Ideally less than 40k, really depends on the car spec/conditions and reason for sale..
