RE: CALL from MY LOCAL STEALER
this is a problem with e46 M3, and after repair it must set to let the materials cure...
never heard it about the RS4, or any Audi
in the States they send letters, they don't call

Yep, heard this a few times now and it's genuine.
RE: CALL from MY LOCAL STEALER
Yeh its genuine the dealer who has looked after the b7 ive just bought mentioned it needing this doing
RE: CALL from MY LOCAL STEALER
Mine went in last week for it. The tool required for the fix is expensive, so my local dealers (York and Hull) are sharing it. They try to get all the cars in to look at during the same week.
RE: CALL from MY LOCAL STEALER
Battery clamp recall by any chance?
Money can't buy you love, but it can buy you a well sorted racecar
RE: CALL from MY LOCAL STEALER
Had mine done also, a couple of weeks ago at Camberley Audi, all they do is use a special type siliconce gun to apply a bonding agent around the battery tray! i am glad i did not have to pay for it as it looks like a five year old applied it!! & yes they need the car to stand for 12 hours after application, & evidentley mine did have a small crack in boot floor!
RE: CALL from MY LOCAL STEALER
I tried to look at mine to see if I noticed a crack and saw nothing. Is the crack or work that needs to be done well didden, i.e. behind the battery or to the sides/front?
