Interesting read. I bought the car as I thought it would be still practical enough if I was to spawn some young. I never contemplated how I would get on getting in and out of the car though.

I have had a 2 yr old in the car (with seat) and I have put the passengers seat forward slightly to save scuffing (got buckets).

I would recommend that you check out dimensions of the prams (when folded) before you buy. Some prams are OTT and cumbersome whereas others collapse and take up less space in the boot.

Why don't you put the anti scuff things on, available in Halfords, I've got them and they are great

well, after much deliberation and measuring up - have decided to get an upholsterer i know to basically make a custom 'booster seat' designed to fit into the bucket seats (she is only 5' 2") - to aid getting in and out for the next few months...

thanks for all the advice!

just the small matter of getting the car now.... heh heh!

Great stuff, a booster seat for the wife!! Is it like the swivel bases that you use for old people?
