I find that if I've cleaned it up properly then it really is a headturner just the other day I had a guy in an astra actually pull over to let me past so he could hear it and in ASDA car park when I returned there was a car stopped behind mine everyone hanging out gawping "that's a beast mate, how much did ya pay for it, it's such a beast" it usually is the boy racer types.... no one ever races.

If it's dirty then no one even bats an eyelid.....no one ever races.

I'm pretty sure I get a lot of 'what a cock' comments too but when i'm in the car i think people say im a <beep>.

I really hate it when people say 'lucky git' or 'jammy sod' or some such.. These people don't realise that we work bloody hard and have scrimped and saved and break our backs to make the monthly finance payment and in some cases even made sacrifices to own our dream cars (no, not goats or virgins). But generally in my 6+, get the thumbs up all the time, toots from fellow car enthusiasts and quite alot of respect. That's just because of my good looks tho  I aint 'fraid 'o no goats...

Pulled on to bypass near where i live and a new Honda Type R was in front of me. I overtook him not thinking too much about it. A couple of minutes later i pulled up at the traffic lights and heard a loud engine noise come screaming up alongside me, it was the honda.

The guy wound his window down and said "what on earth have you got undr the bonnet mate" after i told him he said that he was flat out trying to catch me up, I didnt have the heart to tell him I hadnt noticed him and wasnt even trying. I felt really sorry for him cause he started making excuses saying how the new Honda is very heavy, but hey he was only about 20, not a bad cay for a young en.....

I get a few people trying it on, usually in hot hatches, but then having come from the VW Golf scene I know I can be surprised so take it easy!

My sister hasa remapped mkV Golf GTi and we went head to head and I struggled!

Also a BMW 330 or 335 (couldn't see as it was dark) gave it some the other day and I was redlining it through 2nd and 3rd and up through 4th to get past which I was a little peeved about.

Most people just look at it when they hear the noise, but then where I live it's all Ferarris, Lambos, high end saloons, cabriolets and estates by Audi, BMW and Mercedes, so no one is too shocked to see an RS4 cabriolet....there are four including mine in my town (but mine's the best! ;) )

I love the stealthyness.. I got more attention and people asking about my M3 and R32,S than the RS...STRANGE....

What i find is get more glances when shes shone up, tryes blacked, waxed etc. Then people take a longer look and see the details such as the calipers, exhausts mirrors etc and then show an intrest.

A lot of people have no idea IMO,of what engine, BHP etc our babies have.
Of course most fellow audi drivers show an intrest and seem in the know!!!

Of course i cant help but give it big licks, when someone gives me the thumbs up or a positive comment in the way of that exhaust note..

Yep, I found that 335s are pretty quick! If you look at the figures companies like DMS are quoting for before and after then it's no wonder why! Even the diesel one!
