Showing 5mpg on the car prob means they have left it running at standstill for a long time, that seems to be the only way i can get those sort of figures.
They prob reset it and left it running at standstill.
Glad the suspension is sorted though,

Sounds a bit suspect. Bolton Audi drove mine for 7 miles after replacing shocks and valves, so not over concerned as they were testing car. Maybe give them a try, DRC seems fine at the moment 4 days on.

SPoke to Rob (i think that was his name) @ Camberley Audi yesterday - He is stheir RS expert. He certainly knew his stuff. They will definately be doing my service when its due >2000 miles, and also chatted to him about the slight knocking noise I'm getting. Sounds like he will re-check the DRC pressure, but he also said they do knock at 15mph over a speed ramp, and new ones do it. The other thing he said it could be is a bent arm on the front, which is also common. - Watch this space

I mentioned about the other slight problem I have - when accelerating, it is not as smooth as it should/could be - this he said is more than likely a software update, and nothing to worry about .

Out of interest, have many people actually had their manufacturer warranty extended to 5 years in relation to this whole DRC issue?

Has anyone actually tried to claim on this (without a letter)

Its just the stealers dont seem to know anything about the extension accross the board, just specific cars/VINs

Mine only knocks on 1 side.
I don't think its good enough, has anyone been in touch with Audi UK about this? What response did you get?

Just got mine back.

I had exactly the same issue...

They were quite evasive about what they did, but the issue has gone away....

Yes he does seem to be - my car is definately going there for its service.
When over a speed ramp(one of the small hard black and yellow plastic types) with just my ns wheel, very slowly, and it quite clearly knocks from the os, so will get this looked at, at the same time

Mine does the same, even after all new shocks fitted, and I have been told that it is present on all current cars. It certainly seems that the knocking is there on pretty much every car in this black'n'yellow speed bump scenario, so I am no longer concerned. As long as the handling is not effected like it is when the pressures drop and it knockes, then I can live with a knock at 15mph over the speed bump I only go over once every couple of weeks. It is at my gym, after all ;)
