Hi all

Just had a very good experience with Watford Audi, car was not due in until Monday but said come in Saturday and collect courtesy car (New A6 2.4 - Only had 300 miles on the clock) and called me by close of business Monday to say all work has been completed and collected the car this morning (Great to have her back!).

I found the service staff to be very helpful, A+.

Cheers

Gutted that DRC continues to be the achilles of the RS's; 76% of RS6 owners on here have had problems. Incredibly I believe new RS6 is being specced with the same suspension; would have thought that the lesson would have been learnt by now after nearly 6 years of problems with the design.

"The sport suspension is ideally matched to the power of the V10 FSI. A fluid-mechanical system called DRC Dynamic Ride Control adjusts the shock absorbers at lightning speed" assuming it actually has some hydraulic fluid left in them there dampers! unless the dampers leak at lightning speed.[/i]

audi can give me no estimation as to when the parts will be in which I find odd....collected a A8 4.2 diesel from them this morning. Hate the huge size of the car but I have to say, what an engine!!

Words fail me. After 72 hours diagnosis it now transpires that the dealer doesn't have the tool to repressurise the GAS side of the system, assuming that this turns out to be the problem. 3 weeks backorder from Germany.

All I can say to any of you is make sure you have a MASTER TECHNICIAN working on your vehicle and that they specifically test the OIL and the GAS sides of the system. At present (28Jan) there is apparently NO GAS SIDE SERVICE TOOL in the UK!!!

Mine has just gone into Audi Amersham with their master technician - Iver, knocking on the suspension drop both sides, crap loan car of the 2.0 FSI! I have also had the brakes changed and several other warranty replacements - but I love it, best all round car on the market.

Let me add another one to the mixer...

My courtesy car... just 2500 miles on the clock knocks at the front when it hits a bump on re-bound.

DRC saga continues!! What a shame...

Well car now been with Audi for 10 days and still no sign of any parts to fix this problem......total farce.....

Was considering the new RS6 as a replacement but if it has a similar system forget it!

Had a call back from Audi Amersham after they have had the car for 4 hours. Both Dampners are shot (leaking) and are being replaced. they are also giving me a top of the line Q7 for the 7 days it's taking for the parts to arrive. I must say that all times they have been nothing but very polite and professional. Although it wouild be nice to have a recall if thi sis such a problem.

Yes, small knocks turn in bigger knockers!

I have this too. And a vibrating rattle from the passenger side door card/window. And some bubbling paint on the o/s rear door.
