:audibash:

All,

GOOD NEWS......But had to work for it.

After writing around 15 emails and various different phone calls Audi have now agreed to pay for it under warranty!!!! :smile_smoking:

Now the bad news !! They had my car for 4 weeks whilst doing the investigation, at no point did they think that either way the customer or Audi will pay for this so I will order the parts to fix it. So two fridays ago they gave me the good news that they would pay but and now this is the second week and it still hasn't been fixed.

I have been driving their hire car Audi A4 2.0 TDI for 5 weeks now I CANNOT WAIT TO GET BACK IN MY RS4 and kick some :assflash: !! You dont realise how quick it really is and until you go back to a slow car, still been having fun in the S3 little pocket rocket! :s3addict:

Mines in for almost exactly the same and *touch wood* No quibbles with it being replaced as of yet. Car just wouldnt go into 1st or third when very hot which is quite normal in London traffic. Had call this am to say it needs a new clutch linkage and pipeing (whatever that is) but they will have to order it from germany! They are also replacing the front disc which has warped creating a nasty rumbling noise - again when hot or on long drives without using them (motorway).

Although been left with a 2.0 non quattro shi*e heap of a courtesy car which I am less than happy with. Answer to my request for 'something' better was that I am too young and expensive to insure on their fleet policy! Annoying! So another week or so without the RS I guess ;-(

Sorry to hear that mate, keep on their backs!! Just keep an eye on it as at first they said mine was covered under warranty and then 2 weeks later they said it wasnt. Then after two weeks of a complete nightmare with Audi CS and the dealership they agreed to fix it.

Agreed it is cr@p that they dont give us better cars.
