FYI it is apparently (according to the 5th Gear website) an M3 CS vs RS4 shoot-out...... Tiff Needell and Jason Plato driving

Whatever the outcome, I rate Tiff (and Jason) quite high in terms of respecting their opinion

Will go something like "M3 is better as you can't drive the RS4 sideways all the time, no steering feel, blah blah etc." Shame they don't time the two cars down an unfamiliar road in the dark, raining with cars coming the other way. I know what I'd rather be driving in real life conditions.

i agree with you mate.... all these reviews seem biased..... they love the bmw m3 always have and they always will.... i think that its a piece of sh*t

i think it'd be great if they put Joe Public in each car, and got them to try and chase Tiff/Jason (who would be "only" driving e.g. a new ford focus ST to try and even up the driver skill deficit) across the Millbrook proving ground route in each car.... firstly in the dry, then wet, then night. I think we all know how your average driver would fair between the two cars over the three runs..... and they'd probably die in the second run (wet) in the M3 CS at the third corner.

just my 2p.... RS4 any day, any conditions. And much more comfortable whilst doing it, too. I love M3s too, but I don't feel i'm a good enough driver yet, or probably ever, to be able to utilise their potential.
