Cd player coming up with an error code on deck

Hey all, cd player wont work and is coming up with error... any ideas???

Just looked in my book and is error code 3 which says there something wrong with the actual cd player and wont let me eject the cds... can you pull the cd tray out manually???

Not advisable!! Hit the eject button while gently pushing tray in and up and down and it may give. Mine did it once and now ejects a bit funny but works fine!

you did plug everything back in after having it all out when you fit that new alarm sounder?

yeh everythings plugged back in. lol. Its all plugged in as the lights are on etc.... i took the plastic face off it coz the slider wouldnt open properly, put it back on and it wouldnt let me eject the cd tray :( . any ideas??
