Knocking noise???

My mate has a problem with his S3. When he moves the car back and forward there is a knocking noise coming from the near side wheels area. U can hear it sitting in the car. but cant hink what it could be. Anyone had a similar problem or know what it could be?

I had this with mine - it was the Anti Rollbar drop link which had worn out. Easy peasy to replace as a DIY job. I got mine when riding over rough surface roads or speed bumps.

Having said that knocking from that area could also be top mounts or bushes.
