95 or 98 RON fuel???

Hey all, curious to no how many people use standard unleaded over v-power or ultimate fuel.

I'd be curious to know who uses standard unleaded at all on an S/RS, unless they live in Ireland...

Whats the difference in power then??? Ive got a few mates running 3-400 bhp audi quattros and say normal unleaded is just as good. Think its just a marketing scam (especially when i filled up on bp ultimate at £1.05 a litre....robbing bas*ards) lol.

V-Power or Tesco super 99 ron only for my baby. S3 was never designed to run on 95 ron, I guess that's what the big 97 ron badge on the inside of the fuel filler flap is hinting at

Have only ever put super in mine, unless I had no choice - there is a noticable difference in performance in the S3, nevermind when I had to put 95RON in my RS4.

One of the magazines (EVO??) did a comparison a couple of years ago which showed the difference is greatest on turbocharged cars.

Only put V power in mine, but a friend of mine has used normal unleaded and recons that car was not as smooth?? I would stick to the V myself.
