Standard stats are around :-

0-60-6.4
0-100-16.5
Top speed 152
quarteres between 14.1-14.8 for chipped cars. not bad guesses if I do say so myself!

Take a wander over to audi-sport.net fair amount of S3 stuff goes on over there.... Looky looky:

0-60's where it's at? ? ?

I would say "Fully Comps" where it's at! ! !

If 0-60's important to you i would get a better cover for insurance IMO.

Check out my prev posts, you can be the best driver in the world but it doesn't stop you having a crash or some sod writing the car off, happened to me on a 30k car and all i had was my insurance to talk to.
Or even some chav steeling it, then putting a match to it.

At least get TPFT

You know it makes sence 8)

Spot on Adam. Mind you I was quoted £9,700 a year comp insurance on an XR3i when I was 18.. hence I bought the 1.4 instead.

Is that all mods declared? Not bad for someone of your age, even if it is only 3rd party.

Yeah, I laughed and asked if he was joking. When he replied no I laughed even harder and hung up. ;-) I'm glad because it made me realise that I would have killed myself in the XR3i.

Personally i think they should do on cars what they do on bikes now.

Get some experience behind you before you can get into fast/high powered cars.

Experience and age combined so "We", the innocent driver doesn't have to suffer from others mistakes! !

(Not pointing any fingers or wishing to start a heated discussion, just expressing my views).

Guys your sounding a bit stereotypical. i may be 18 (19 when i insure the thing with 2 years no claims in september) i am a very cautious driver (even with 270bhp+ under my right foot) and yes the quote was for 3rd party fire and theft.... im not that stupid...lol. the fully comp figures were in the several of thousands and probably could of bought another s3 with it. lol. I see theres a few in this forum with rs6's. big respect. love those things. any performance upgrades?????

:D Don't worry Scott, we're just old :D

When i was 19/20 i was racing about on Bikes and fastish cars and went TPF+T. Fully comp was HUDGE amounts.

Like everyone else on this site, i wish you all the best in safe trouble free motoring.

You're one lucky 18/19 year old! ! Sure beats any of my cars I had before my 20th birthday.

get a Camera system fitted to the car that records while driving, this was something i wanted to do after doing it for a rally in April. I didn't due to the set up costing £500.
When i get another car to replace the written off one this is one of the mod's I'll be doing. If i had of done it i would have had the reg number of the car that pulled out on me.

Also, make sure you tell them about the wheels etc, shouldn't make too much to the insurance price and if it does tell them to not insure them against damage or theft but just to make them aware you have them fitted.

They will try everything to try and get out of paying you a claim.

All the best

Adam

Ps. when i say "we're old" I didn't mean old old ;)
