S3 Insurance

Post by david7m » Fri Apr 27, 2007 10:04 am

Just renewed my insurance, I think I got a great deal

I'm 27, 2001 S3, value £10k, chipped (declared), 9 years no claims, DR10 1997 with 3 points still on licence (11 years in total!), parked on the road in a little village 10 miles outside Milton Keynes..........£497.75 :D

This is with Greenlight.

Me and the missus just had a quote from Elephant.com for our S3 '99' V, me, 27 and the missus, 26 with 8 yrs no claims plus business use, no points thankfully and no claims protected for £350  . Spoke to Noel from advert on RS246 and told to phone closer to the date for a competitive quote, still to do!!!

Hope this helps anybody else.

That is good

Noel told me to snap that quote up as they couldn't get near! Makes me wonder who they actually insure.....

just a quick update. 353 from admiral. know it's 3 pounds more than elephant but save's hassle changing companies. unfortunatly noel dazley didn't get back to us after a couple of calls. a bit strange, cause when i went on line 4 weeks ago he called me up about 5 mins after turning comp off with a qoute and told me to call back cause he could help us out nearer to the start date.

I got my renewal through and the cheeky buggers were trying to charge me as much for the S3 as they did for the 996...

one phone call later, 400 quid, fully comp with buisness use. ;)

450 fully comp with Tesco's arranged it on a sunday on internet took 15mins to sort. Was with greenlight for years they specialize in modded cars and have always been good insurers.
