no joy on the rs4 down here then...
It sounds nice, but no satnav (if that worries you).
I would have though that you could probably pick up a new shape one for that sort of money though (or is a 2002 the new shape?)
Cheers,
John.

My initial thoughts....
1. £31k!!!!!!!!!!!
2. 225 to 330 bhp
3. £31k!!!!!!!!!!!
4. 330 bhp and 0 miles
5. £31k!!!!!!!!!!!
6. 'MTM Engine Conversion', would like more details... Especially if it has an ABT chip
7. £31k!!!!!!!!!!!

F**k me you 2 were quick to sly into the s3 bit were'nt u
phil - 330 bhp in such a small package could equal a lot of fun!!! and remember it's at lomond audi so they may still give me 41k for mine lol!! they prefer to sell an expensive car and give u stupid money for your px!

Guys,
This has been discussed on Audi-Sport (here
AudiSport topic) . It was commented that with the work that has been done to the car it may not be as expensive as it appears.
Cheers,
Christian

just spoke to them, it's done 2000 miles
got the coilovers and porsche brakes
check the prices out
s3 tuning - qst
it's all MTM so it's very shaky on the warranty front!

why do you say shaky on the warranty front?

Would Lomond Audi not honour any warranty claims. I thought they specialised in supplying modded cars.

Jon,
as ever on any board I scan new posts, just to see if there is something I could learn
Add to that the fact I know you were shopping for an RS replacement, I just had to have a read
The spec does look good, but as soon as you take that off their forecourt it becomes 'just another S3', and so you dump at least 6k !!
Unless you are happy they'll give you 6k over what you'd get for your RS elsewhere, my advice would be don't do it.
Besides, any S3 is likely to lose more money than your RS will over a year or two (IMO).
I'm not having a dig at S3 owners here BTW. I love the cars, but it is a fact that any new car will depreciate at a higher rate than a 2 year old car (especially a limited supply car like the RS).
If it were me mate I'd go for the RED RS they have
assuming the yellow/blue ones aren't going anywhere.
Cheers,
John.

the red one has gone, they were holding it until i decided what I was doing. When I went to West London Audi, the salesman hadn't told the buyer it was chipped, so I got halfway to london when I got the call the deal was off. it pissed me off because it meant I lost the red one!
Bet the s3 would be more fun than my rs4 as I don't do many motorway miles, round town and countryside for me. My old chipped s3 was a laugh a minute! much sharper handling as well!

ok, you got me worried then for a bit, because I bought my car from Gatwick Audi with the MTM conversion and was told that the warranty would be honoured because it was sold converted, I wonder what will happen at warranty renewal time as I was only given 1 year

Hey Jon, if you want to go S3, buy my girlfriends - 2000X 27k on the clock - spend £10k (MTM, Sportec, Revo, whoever) and will still only cost you £25k
Problem is she want's a Tuscan - told her she's getting a Micra with some No-Nails Bodykit
Seriously mate, spending that sort of money to replace an RS4 - it has to be a GTR V-Spec R33 with 550bhp

Hi jon
I went in for a test drive of that car but was in show room so didnt get to drive it, so hopefully when they have it out i'll get a shot. It is the lomond audi's directors car it started off about £35000 and has been steadly been knocked down in price because they cant sell it, the salesman told me they wouldn't been lowering it anymore but im sure they would to get rid very few peeps will be looking to buy such a car. Only thing i noticed was that the brakes have only been uprated on the front, standard brakes on the rear apart from that it looks mint.
One thing to remeber is the car is only worth £25000 tops, i'm prity sure no audi dealer would be willing to give u anywhere near that money if u were trying to sell it theres nothing on the car that wouldnt be on a standard one. I've modified cars before and the first thing you have to remebers is that you are never going to get a return from the mods you make to the car, so i would be very reluctant to pay that much.
