i have read that some seats have the heated elemts in them so all u need is a wiring loom and the switchs? how can i tell if mine has it or not? can anyone recommend someone who can wire it up? i have called audi but all they can say is replace the whole setup at £4k ish, and i dont need my back warmed that badly...

i got used to having them when i had a tt. used to do the "turn the passenger seat to max" without their knowledge and watch them squirm for the entire journey... but if it is true that the s3 i have the heater elements then i would like to make the most of it. unless there is a s3 out there which is black, has bose, a sunroof and heated seats?

has bose
Most of them have Bose, wasn't this standard? Very few have sunroofs. My dad has a black one (my old one) with all you specify except the sunroof.

disgracefully the Bose isn't standard in the S3.

Just been reading the comments on the heated seats, I've an S3 without them, around this time of year you do starting thinking "I really should have gone for the heated seat option" So is it true can we go for it simply by getting the loom and switches? How can we tell if the seats just need connecting ?!!
