Looks like the S3 has 386 CC injectors and only a 3 bar FPR.

It looks like the TT has a 4 bar FPR, but 360 CC injectors? I thought the engines were the same?

(The guy at Revo got the TT and S3 mixed up)

I'd be very very surprised if there was a difference between the FPR on the S3 and TT with the same engine code..

I should even out, as although the TT has a 4 bar FPR, the S3 has bigger injectors (according to all this information)

I have posted on tt-quattro to see if they know more about this.

Si - I am not sure if the TT and S3 share the same engine codes...hoping to find out.

thought they were both BAM (ie 225 bhp) - the confusion could arise due to the early AMK 210 bhp engine that the early S3 had before the ecu upgrade..

my old 210bhp S3 had the AMK engine, my new 225bhp S3 has the BAM engine code..

makes sense.

Well the TT people reckon they have the same, BAM engine. Perhaps the US TT has the 4 bar FPR and smaller injectors due to emissions or something [img]images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]

If a s3 has 386cc injectors and 3 bar fpr then the s3 is superior as we can supply more fuel with a simple upgrade to a 4bar fpr.My betting is that there identical.But i really wouldn't be suprised if the s3 injectors are 430's or something.....further investigation is needed!!ryan

Hi guys, i'm new to the forum and i think it's great.
My S3 (2002) with a lot of mods but stock turbo shows 313 hp at the trunk and 440 Nm torque. I have post my mods in my profile. with Zex nitrus the numbers are 408 with 580 Nm.

I'd give it a bout a week on that power before she goes KA BOOM!!

The engine will not flow that much horsepower using a standard turbine...

But, prove us all wrong and post a dyno chart..

First thing when i 'll go home to scan and post the dyno chart. The car runs 1.4 1.5 bar for a couple of months now without any problem.

Uprated wastegate spring
Zex nitrus system
Bilstein PSS9
Camper kit,

What shot is the Nitrious? If you are using 1.5bar and you are using nitrious, what fueling are you using?

I'd be intrested to see some AFR's with all that air in your system!

What i know is that my mechanic set the nitrus for 75 hp plus and the result on the dyno was 408. Now as for the AFR even with the nitrus on, the value is 11.5 - 12.0. The fueling system is the stock one, and it runs reach enough cause with or without the nitrus when i change gears over 6500 rpm there is always big flames out of the exhaust.
