S3 RR Results from AmD today,
Re: S3 RR Results from AmD today,
Well i dont want to get into a bitching war on here. I was impressed that AMD actually put out food for us and as far as I could tell there were drinks to be had all day. If I/we have upset Wando then it was not intentional as I/we appreciate the effort that went into the day.
I also read some of the 'slagging' of a certain person that day on AS.Net which was a bit unsavoury imo.

Re: S3 RR Results from AmD today,
Well okay but my mate who attended said it was a good day, and what really made it work was the enthusiasm of the attendees. This disguised a number of short fallings - not least the lack of hospitality - hot food, coffee, etc - RS246 note for future. AmD did well to get through the reserve list, incentivised by some cash in hand/pocket activity no doubt. But will it make up for all those Revo sales? I somehow doubt it. Oh, and every gathering of clans needs someone to hate and throw stones at, it's a psychological group thing, and sure enough they victimised a banned member who just happened to turn up.
In the olden days they would have stoned him to death which is quite an appropriate analogy by all accounts as he allegedly stank of weed!
Well you can't expect a company that specialises in tuning to provide perfect hospitality can you. It's a pity they all decided to victimise Golfttish. I've smelt his jacket and it doesn't stink of weed - it's more like donkey dung!
When are they going to publish the results?

Re: S3 RR Results from AmD today,
I didn't believe my S3 was 225bhp standard.
It felt more like 125bhp.
bass.
Thats cos you just stepped out of an RS4
Too much is bad.
Plenty is better.

Re: S3 RR Results from AmD today,
Coverdrive. I disagree with your mate.
Hot drinks were available all day from reception as were cold canned drinks from the fridge.
Hot food was planned for in shape of a BBQ , but downpour all day stopped play. A selection of cold snacks were supplied instead.

Re: S3 RR Results from AmD today,
I've seen the names they've been calling GolfTTish and frankly the whole thing is very childish. Mind you anyone who calls himself Wando must be an authority on silly names... and here's me calling myself MushroomMan. Oh well. We'll have something sensible to discuss when they eventually get round to publishing the results.
Re: S3 RR Results from AmD today,
My results for the day were 276.2bhp @ 5829rpm with 303.9 Ib ft @3116.
It must have been the MTM badge I stuck onto the rear hatch before I set off that gave me the extra oomph
There was a huge spike in the graphs though. People have suggested a boost leak or faulty DV as it recovered almost imediately and then produced the above figures. I've looked but cant see anything wrong.
The power losses were 91.0bhp (51.5%)
At the last RR day I went to at Well Lane the car produced 269bhp cant remember the torque figures. It was mad hot on this day though, as PhilT can no doubt remember.
I'm not really interested in all of the sh*te that went on / goes on between the different forums. After all the end result was that we all had a good day and met up with some fellow Audi enthusiasts.

No problem bass, it was a lonely drive down from H/Pool, 4 hours and not another Audi in site until the last 20 minutes
