It was a good day at the Rollers I hear. My mate got 265bhp and 311 lbs/ft torque with his Revo chip plus AmD viper valve. Running lean at the top end however.

Apparently there was a strange looking guy offering people paint stripper from a hip flask and spreading sexual innuendoes about the AS.net site owner and a local donkey. Weird bloke. The donkey didn't look like it had been tampered with.

Yeah, and there's another weird bloke come to think of it!
(Don't think he'd bother to deny it either).

Anyway, you have the same set up as him, so pretty comparable on performance?

not really, my car showed 233bhp(!) and 290lb/ft. Looking at my graphs where the other chipped cars had about 220lb/ft at 6K RPM mine had 160lb/ft - dont know why either. Car feels generally okay, did some logging on VAGCOM last night and no apparent issues with MAF/Timing or requested boost vs actual

That's seriously under power? I can't believe you can't feel it too, surely?

You're running Revo?

yes REVO. I dont know, it could be anything really, the RR was one run only, just a snapshot really. I mean you can get better figures by sticking extra weight in the boot of your car so perhaps it was just a 'bad' run for me, although I must say I am pretty dissapointed as all the orher cars put out good figures.

Before the RR I didnt think there was anything up with my car and on the way home it felt okay too.

I have had 254bhp on lower Revo settings on a RR day back in May this year. Regarding feeling low power, I also got 290lb/ft peak torque, so the car still has a good kick up the butt - so it doesnt feel slow.

looks very trick, works superbly, but limited space to fit in the S3, possibly could fit in cubby hole under light switch

under power, but its the torque you feel. and that is a healthy 290 ftlb

strange.

True - 290 lbs torque is acceptable; not as high as other readings for comparable set-ups... Bygone got 311 lbs running Revo.

but he was running high boost 9, I was running high Boost 6, so less boost = less torque
