If you've never had one before, then I suppose the only way to tell is to drive/be passenger in a standard S3 or TT. Unless you have Vagcom and can data the log the MAF?

Tried a quick e-mail to Superchips themselves?
Sounds like it may have been a development car for them, so they would be able to confirm.

Thanks for looking, thats a facelift where as mine is pre face lift, im guessing if superchips owned it then it must have been chipped, could this of been removed at a later date tho? ie when they sold the car. It does have a boost gauge in thograemep wrote:Was sure I had seen a review before, so did a quick search - same car?

I'd be surprised if it was put back to standard, although it is possible.
The only other way you could tell would be to put the car on a rolling road, although you could compare peak boost with the figures in the article.
As David suggests a mapped S3 is very different to stock - I had mine remapped by AmD about 3 years ago. The biggest difference I noticed in normal driving was the additional torque which basically meant not having to change down to 5th to have any acceleration at about 70-80.
I did have a similar issue when I bought my RS4 about six months later, and a healthcheck showed that the car had been remapped - the only confirmation I managed to get in the end was by contacting the supplying tuner although that map has since been replaced.
