Newbie Ipod question

Post by guytom » Tue Oct 31, 2006 8:35 pm

Hello all,

I recently bought a black face lifted '02 S3, and was wondering if I can connect my Ipod to the stereo somehow. I have the Sat Nav and a Bose stereo just wondering if it is an easy thing to do.

Thanks in advance

Guy

you can get a lead to replace the disc loader! some guys have tried splitting the cables and adding a switch! best thing in my opion is phatbox replaces the disc loader with a hard disc all controled from your haed unit.

Hiya Mate,
I got a Dension IceLink, gives full control though the head unit so your Ipod can be tucked away in the glove box. Also gives track info on the headunit and dash display, it cost me about £100 fitted. Only minor problem is that you cann't use the cd changer once its fitted but surely the point of an Ipod is to have all your music on it in one handy place!
Its a great bit of kit IMO and possibly the best 100 sheets I've spent
