I live on Anglesey, North Wales and can confirm there are some epic roads here!

In, dependent on dates!

@Surrey Sam
@HYFR

I believe you guys are familiar with these roads?

I get the impression that the evo triangle has a serious police presence...there must be some other epic but not as well known routes?

I could be up for this too depending on dates

I go to Wales fairly regularly in the Spring/Summer and would advise that you definitely avoid the Evo Triangle. There's too many unmarked police cars, as well as other car groups there.

I'd really advise the guys who go to have PMR radios (walkie talkies), with headsets so the lead car can advise if the road is clear to overtake etc. We take it one step further and all have the older TomTom units with the Itinerary pre-loaded so we all follow the same route.

Most of the videos I have aren't public, but the YouTube clip will give you a taster (it's not viewable on a phone/tablet): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8-5G24b ... njosItjwLQ

Cheers - it doesn't play via a standard mobile browser though, probably because of the music copyright I'd imagine

Thanks for this, sound advice! Happy to take recommendations on roads etc from people who have been before. That video just re-affirms my belief that there is tons of fun to be had in Wales! :thumb:

Yes I'm in as well.

Happy to help where I can, I usually drive it midweek and have never seen Police. Hit it early on say a Saturday morning and then on to get some breakfast at the Rhug farm shop, should be fine. I always do a sighter lap first anyway.
