Car (B6 S4) due in to garage as not been quite right since service/plugs changed but struggled to keep up with a TTS Sunday? Is that expected? (Not from BHP/T figures) or is it sign that I need it back in the garage?

Facts & Figures
Engine|capacity
Peak Power
Peak Torque
Kerbweight
0-60
Top speed
2.0-litre 4cyl turbo
268bhp at 6,000rpm
350Nm at 2,500rpm
1,455kg
5.4 secs
155mph
A real match for the S4 on general performance, would probably be quicker than an S4 round a track or the twisties due to it being more nimble. The 0-60 is quoted from 5.2-5.4 so depending on which you believe it's quicker to 60, but why would a hairdresser need to go that fast anyway

The TT is smaller and lighter than the S4 by about 300 kg. Being turbocharged, there's also a good chance the TT may have been fettled, which would make it even quicker. No shame in being trounced by a TTS!

Good call on hairdresser as was convertible!!
However, been giving lots of consideration to RS6 so think that has settled it! Could of lives with a TTRS but it genuinely had more 'punch'

The TTS has the same engine as the new S3. With a full exhaust, intake, uprated fuel pump and a remap to make the most of them they make 350+ bhp, 350 lb ft and feel a fair bit quicker the s4
