Bang! Trigger pulled...

Got it. Just got back from up North (where it was) to down South (where it is now). Clapped eyes on it and knew immediately I had to have it.
Pics to follow. It's a lifestyle colour: black with a strong violet tint. Red interior.
Goes like stink, and sounds awesome...

Black with violet? You sure?
Don't know of any B6 colour like that, but sounds nice.
Get a replacement exhaust. You'll love it even more!

Yup. It's unlike any S4 colour I've seen. From a distance it looks black, then you get closer and see this violet/purple in it.
The seller said it was an Audi Lifestyle colour. I found something on google about this being a special order pallette of colours.
Lying awake now. Bit like a kid on Xmas day

Wasn't it a very expensive extra, where you pay mega bucks to have any colour from the Audi range

The colour sounds like Black Pearlescent. I have this colour and from some angles is does give the impression of violet. Unless of course it is bespoke colour.

Well, I've been out in it today, and the weather's been crap, so I haven't taken any pictures yet. However, this paint thing has got me interested. The sticker in the tyrewell in the boot, which should have the paint code on it, has a blank where the paint code should be. Hmm.
This is a pic that the seller used:
It looks here like a black that hasn't photgraphed well, but in fact that's a reasonable impression of the colour. In the flesh it is deeper and darker. As soon as the sun comes out, I'll take some proper pictures.
Also quite keen to get Audi to tell me what the paint code is, even if it's just to get a touch up stick.

This isn't very easy. On my monitor, that pic has a violet hue. On my iPhone, it's jet black. I guess YMMV.

You'll find the paint code on the data sticker in the service book, or in the boot

No I won't. There's a blank space on the sticker where the code should be; and I know what I'm looking for because I'm comparing the sticker to the one on my A8.
V. puzzling. Will ring Audi tomorrow. Need to get the code for the RNS-E anyway, so I'll ask about this.

Solved. Rang the local dealership, who had to get the paint colour from Audi UK.
Cherry black pearlescent.

I had this with my first RS4 which was in non-standard colour of Denim Blue - there was no paint code on either sticker and only way to get code was to contact Audi UK.
