Interesting. Do you know the specifics of the re-map you had done? My B5 was standard and I always found it a little, dare I say, boring, after about 5500 rpm, which is where the B6 comes alive.Shagga wrote:Pete,
I still think that in a drag race at 120mph in top gear my B5 would leave my B6 for dust, particulary as it has no rev limiter and flies past the 160mph barrier without much effort. To be honest I think the gearbox is what's freaking me out as it appears to have a mind of it's own on occasions.
Sounds like you'd do well to knock up S2tuner who mentioned the tiptronic tune in the other post.
