Afraid I can't substantiate my rumour-mongering!! I keep meaning to give my dealer, Aston Green Audi at Slough, a bell about this but having trouble finding the hours in the day at the moment. Will try to do so this week.

It is certainly dealer dependent. Wayside Milton Keynes were mod friendly, Listers certaily are but it is probably a question you ask and get a satisfactory reply to when you place the order.

Listers are deffo mod friendly on the S4 (and most Audi's) as they offer the AMD mods themselves...

AG (Reading/Slough/Guildford/West London) are also mod friendly as well

Thanks guys,

Info very much appreciated.

Sounds good for both Wayne and me.
Idle curiosity makes me ask if there is anything to stop someone going to a mod-friendly dealer to get work done under warrranty when they bought the car elsewhere?

No problem at all. It is a country-wide warranty, so as long as you get the car serviced by an approved dealer to maintain its history it shouldn't make the slightest bit of difference. I think it says this somewhere in the warranty/service booklet.

I brought my RS4 from a non-vag dealer and Guildford Audi are still dealing with a couple of warranty issues, no questions.

Cheers,
John.
