In my search for an engine for my s4 4.2 i've come across one site which claims the following engine codes will all fit but i'm not convinced. Any experts care to shed some light for me?
My engine code is BBK
079 100 033 5V/RBC
Engine, Short Block, 4.2L V8 5 Valve.
Code BAS, Audi All-Road(01-05)
Code BHF Audi A4(04-09)S4(03-08)
Code BNK Audi A6(05-08)
The BHF engine code is apparently the US version of the BBK. Just wondering if there was any UK equivalent for the BAS or BNK? As this might increase the pool of cars I can get an engine from
