My B6 mods update

Post by S4Paul » Sat Oct 29, 2011 10:16 am

After having the car for a little over a month now I have to complete some my mental list of mods required (in my view).

So 1st off was having removed the orange front indicator bulbs and replaced then with silver was a had to do mod....... Done!

2nd I wanted to get the windows tinted (legal, well as legal as you can) as I think it really suits a black avant..... Done (pics to follow)

3rd was to have the dull grey area at the base of the rear bumper wrapped (carbon) as there is not a great deal you can do here with the bumper being one peice on the B6 S4 :audibash:

Then I moved to the front :blackrs4: :blackrs4: to look at grill options (pics) which I like and have had other ideas but am going to leave for a bit.

I am in the process of trying to install some tastfull after maket DRLs and am also looking at wheel option. all comments welcome on the idea I have just tested on one wheel (see the pic)

Like the carbon wrap - any more pics of the back?
Will be interested to hear how you plan to do the DRLs, was thinking of that myself, but seems fairly pricey.

are you planning to stick with exterior mods, or are you going for any performance mods too?

would defo get a decent exhaust to hear the V8... at the very least some new tips to fill the rear valance cut-outs.

So far it cost me about £8 as bought a cheap test set off eBay, you can see them on the front view pic to follow, just in the process of wiring them in!
