Removing dash / door inserts?

Can anyone advise if it is possible to remove the inserts from the dash and door cards, without stripping the dash or removing the door cards? I.e can they be pryed off?

I wan to try and recover them.

Yes. Apparently it's about 2.5 hours work to swap the trims with basic tools. Never done it myself though

I'm sure I've seen pretty detailed guides for this somewhere. Can't remember where though, but it's likely to have been tyresmoke.net/audi-sport/audiworld, or one of the similar sites.
