Does Your Exhaust Sound Like This?

Looking for an S4 at the moment, just wondering if your stock exhaust sounds like this video suggests.

It's a B7 exhaust (two each side) but for a stock exhaust I think it sounds fantastic

Sounds about right, you hardly hear the stock exhaust until high revs. I lasted a month until I got a full Milltek because the standard sound doesn't do the car justice

How does the miltek sound at motorway speed and at idle?

Reason for asking is I like the rumble the RS4 has on idle, but I hate the boy racer exhausts you see on scoobys and evos, for me that would ruin it.

Really deep rumble at idle, around town sounds great and is deep and obviously a V8 sound to passers by, motorway is fine, very smooth and not loud really, these cars are really well soundproofed so you don't hear it in the car really, I tend to lower a the windows when I want to hear it. At high revs it sound like an exotic, still deep but with a howl. Id say milltek spent alot of time perfecting the sound of the exhaust

Not that I've noticed, but it's a V8 so I don't bother monitoring fuel, I just fill up when it beeps at me :-)

I have the Milltek (inc cats) and the sound and transformation is amazing. A nice rumble at low revs but hardly noticeable at motorway speeds.

Mine has a deeper growl. Sounds good for a dog carrying estate

As DK said, Milltek is a must!

Correct me if I'm wrong - but isn't that an M3 cab interior pic?

Are you sure you've replied/posted to the correct thread her Amanda? The OP was asking about Millteks on an AUDI S4. Quite how a pic of your nice array of buttons and air con relates is puzzling me....

...please tell me I'm going mad here...or blonde? :drink:

Scrub that last comment - the pic has suddenly changed to a link to a rather tasty sounding RS6...

...blonde I am then.
