Dissappointed

Post by algreene » Mon Dec 03, 2007 6:57 pm

Looked at an S4 yesterday. Thought Id found my car...

That was until I sat in it. Im 6'6" and with the seat back and in a comfy position there was barely more than 3 inches between back seat and rear of front seat. Im looking for a car that I can carry 4 people in in comfort..

I couldnt quite believe it was that bad to be honest. Theres more room in my 3 door civic.

Question is. Is there alot more room in the S/RS6's??

Cheers

...a question to post in those respective forums I would have thought - doubt many of those cars' users would look in here often.

You're quite right though, rear legroom is pretty poor in the A4

Yes, much more. I'm 6'4" and 3 adults in back easily. On holiday I had 3 adults and 2 kid seats in the car along with a weeks worth of luggage in the '6 no problems.

agreed the leg room is pretty poor. I came from a Volvo V70R in which the legroom was fantastic, but the audi could definately be better. I was also quite surprised when I first viewed the car when I opened the rear door, but then I lifted the bonnet, and that more than made up for it :P
