Rpm problem

Have a problem with my rpm.. When it hits 6000 rpm and I release the throttel, it is werry slowlyto come down..Is that a ECU problem?
SO sorry for my english, but hope you understand my problem :roll:

how about when you push the clutch in? what happens then?

It is the same.. The problem is also when the car is in netural gear..

Mine did this when that little sensor on the throttle body was disconnected and also a bit when the maf is unplugged

Sounds like the clutch or brake switch to me.

Mine has exactly the same problem, Will be going to the garage next week for them to have a squint at it!
