If you fit OE RS4 wheels on your S4 they will stick out to far and rub on your wheel arches.

The ideal set up is a light 18" wheel, offsett of ET35mm with say a good brand 225/40x18 tyre. Maybe a Michelin or a Goodyear F1??

I have 235 40 18 tyres on my 2000 avant. They are fitted to 8.5j wheels and I think they might just be ok with the rubbing, but I havent lowered the car yet. 255s would definately rub.
