a few questions

can dump valves be fitted to 2.7 bi s4 ? also what make of exaust will ive the car abit more of a grunt as the standard one is very quiet. and lastly is it an easy job to fit a k&n cone filter with all the sensors on the air box. thanks for any help

yes you could fit a cone filter... search the threads there are some i'm sure .... :wink:

cheers for that iv just never heard an s4 with dump valve was wondering what it would sound like cant find any vids? also do u know where the best place in the uk for suplying Milltek exaust would be? thans anyone for help :D

There's a reason for that. Its not a Renault 5.

If you bought an S4 thinking of K&N, big bore exhaust and dump valves then you have bought the wrong car IMO.

Don't fit dump valves. The engine is designed to run re-circulating valves.
Look on the Milltek website for an exhaust.

Don't put a cone filter on it. Do you really want the engine sucking in warm air from the engine bay? If you want to change the filter, put in an aftermarket panel filter, but IMO, you're wasting your money.

Oi! That K&N cone sucking in ''hot air' on a dyno will still do 500 bhp on a K04 car.

agree about the VTA dump valves though.

i read on here not so long back that the oil on the cone filter can coat the maf sensor causing problems there

K & N cone is a big NO NO. The cone is not big enough for the car... ITG cone works alot better, but you need to seal from the heat from the engine..
