FARB Bushes

i fitted the H&R bars a while ago and have recently noticed a heavy knocking coming from the front. i have taken it to a MOT place who put it on their 'one man MOT rig' so it could rock the car about. we couldnt find anything obvious but the guy mentioned that he had seen on VAGs the roll bar bush not fitting correctly and causing a knocking. (the bracket being slightly loose and allowing the bar to move inside it) i was wondering if anyone that has changed their bars has had this problem and any solutions.

Did you replace the drop links at the same time as the ARB? these have a tendency to wear causing a knocking sound.

check the upper and lower balljoints for play
1999 S4 bi turbo imola yellow,grey pearl wheels,now with KO4's.

yes i did replace the droplinks inc bolts and nuts

i have checked all joints and they seemed ok. guess im going to check the arb brackets to make sure the bar isnt free to move about in it... will keep you posted...
