ok, when accelerating hard the car is very hesitant it basically just dies. It feels like a fuel cut or somthing similar. Also i can hear the boost alot louder, than normal as if there is a major leak. Are there any weak spots in the turbo system? Or could somebody point me in the right direction.

thanks

Ok then - first thing to do is check the TBB and f-hose for splits, then check the DVs (check that the diaphragms haven't split: blow through them, push the piston end in then hold your thumb over the nipple - the vacuum should hold the spring) .... then check your DV hoses for splits.

If after doing these checks you find that these parts are all intact, then look for the less obvious stuff like a hole in a charge pipe (normally passenger side charge pipe if the fan has been rubbing against it and worn through the plastic) - check the intercooler hoses are still attached top and bottom, and all clips done up tightly.

More helpful ..?

Get one from Samco, or get the APR Bi-pipe.

the standard DV's are 710A's, the 710N is from the 225bhp TT and is regarded has having a much stronger diaphragm. you should be able to get them from an Audi dealer or from the likes of ECS. it's worth doing a search on here for pressure testers and see some of the home made kit we've concocted to trace exactly these kinds of faults.

Also worth investing in VAG-COM so you can check for fault codes and log sensors such as the N75 and MAF.

best of luck sorting it
