My car leaked about 5 litres worth of screenwash last night after washing my windscreen... Had a similar issue on my old A4 but that was just a case of reattaching one of the hoses which had become lose.. Access in the S4 is very limited, and im finding it difficult to see where exactly the problem lies... Any ideas?

Check the pump. It's a common fault on these. When mine had gone, it literally cracked right the way up the plastic and was very obvious.
Add some more water to the car so you can see where it's coming out from.

you'll have to remove the N/S wheelarch liner to see properly, 5 minute job

Mine leaked at the T-junction behind the front bumper LH grille, O-ring was squashed, took me ages to find the leak, new o-ring, some patience and all was sorted.

The AC drips condensation around the area too. I thought I had a leak after replacing the headlight washer pump when I just got the car. It was of course split up the middle, such a poor designed part.

If you've been running the AC and stop the car, it's the drain from the AC. If it's wiper fluid, you've either cracked the tank, or had the pump O-ring drop into the tank.
Replacing the tank is easy, but you do have to remove the drivers side wheel and inner fender liner.

Looked like I had water dripping off the anti roll bar. The AC puts out water further back doesn't it?
I'll be keeping an eye on mine now...

Not had time to do any investigation so far this week, washer light has been on since saturday - its beginning to get annoying now! Will see what i can do over the weekend, does the wheelarch liner simply slip off? Im a noob when it comes to car maintenance, guess ill have to learn the hard way... Cheers for the help
