there is a whole section for 'other cars' so maybe BMW talk should be moved to there

far be it from me to stop free speech but i think as a member that has only posted 11 times i think your missing the point..
now i dont know how many friends or how many times you have helped the members on this forum or even gone to RS246 meets but all i can say is that ive done a darn site more than you have on here.
now i class this forum and its members as very good friends and when i decided to sell my S4 for a crappy BMW i thought it only rite to let them know.
if you take time to read and understand the reply,s i got you will see that none of them have complained about it being about BMW,s or it being put in the wrong place..
i just hope that goes to show the high regard people have for me on here and that all of my 1700 plus posts will not be forgotten..
i hope this clears thing up for you cos it certainly does for me..

I'll miss ya Woody. Your the only one mrc246.com with the same remap as me. All those days of talking about low rpm megaboost are going to come to an end. Enjoy the new motor dude.

I can't see anything wrong with talking about other marques on here whatsoever - it's all chat that's relevant to Audi's.

Where else could I find out how an M5 compares to an S4 or whatever?

What's wrong with bashing other marques (Crappy M5, snigger!)?

live and let live I say!

That said, post count doesn't = excellence, fairly sure most of mine are crap! :-)

Hopefully going to me stimp.
Can i just say that if this is directed towards woody and his post about changing his car i think it is totally misguided.
Hopefully if i buy woody's car he has kindly offered to help me out if any goes wrong with it, which will save me some big bills.

Yeah - I reckon Woody's earned the right to talk about whatever he wants, one of the few whose posts have humour AND information, and a regular contributor too...

....................................and hopefully he will continue to contribute. it'll be most informative to see how M5 ownrship stacks up against the S4

no dont fell the same, makes for a better forum IMO when you have knowledgable people, who arnt biased in there words, which i belive you'll get here.

personally i use a ford forum, thats probably the biggest now in the uk, its owned / run by a tuner, who at the start run a sapphire cosworth, moved on and now has a bmw, like a high % of the users on there, dont own a ford anymore, but give there input to new members and current ones, which is very valued
