My last set lasted about 22k miles / 3 years, however I was using slightly uprated pads (Pagid fast road).

1st set at 36K according to the book. Just had second set, and I'm at 73K now.
Had these done up at AP Services, (01280 840 491). Speak to Ed Jackson, (ex of AMD).
Good value considering that they found the problem when when other things were being done.
Good set of guys, give them a call.

I dont think this would be considered a hijack of this thread - how often are you replacing your front discs guys (under normal driving, ie excluding track days)?

I have just done my rears (solid) that is second set in 4 years and 80k miles. I must be honest, they could have gone longer but bear in mind I am doing 20k odd a year and LOTS of motorway miles.

My first set lasted 75k miles, can you believe that ? and 2 sets of standard pads.
I reckon its a combination of my gentle driving style and garaging the car (no rust build up).
Gentle driving style?!
