RCs or CHs? Regardless, I vote for CHs. They look very nice on Imola.

ch's are to wide for the s4 they only come in 8.5" wide and would have strech 225 tyres over the wheel.

sorry the poll was supposed to be for RC's.
Does anybody have any pics of how 225 tyres would look on an 8.5" wheel.
I dont want to lose curb protection.

i wouldn't have thought u could safely get 225's onto an 8.5" rim

I had 225's stretched over 8.5's, not too much rim protection, have 235/40/8.5's now, still not much protection, would like to try 255/35/18's, but I know i will be wasting my time, they will hit/rub i am sure...
wheels i just took off had 235/40/18 on8J rim, gave good protection, but they were square !!

looking for a 18x8 really, so BBS RC's or OZ superleggeras.
Been on http://www.superhonda.com/tech/wheel_weights.html and it says that the RC's are cast (soft). What does the soft mean? Are they a strong wheel?

Not sure on the soft, I had Oz saturn plus 8.5x18, et37 - very strong except sideways.... :biggrin2:

A lot of people run 8.5 wheels on S4s. No reason you can't go bigger than 225 either. I ran 245 on my summer setup and had very little rubbing. With just a tad of fender rolling you would be just fine.

What was your offset Mikeyb --- what rims also ... I am sure I have seen on USA site that they run 255/35/18 - also these are dropped really low too - wheels tucking underslightly .... :biggrin2:

what size could i put on then without changing the overall circumfrence of the wheels.

depends on your rim/tyre size - i am on 235/40/18 on 8.5j rim at present, but 255/35/18 is the next true size rotational to originals i am led to believe ... someone will have something to add -- anymore from anymore .....??? :s4addict:

My offset was 35 and there are people running 255 on this side of the pond.

There are some people who lower their car too much, like you said the wheels tucking in the fender. I am not one of those, looks very tachy IMO.
