All is well here in camp S4.

Was having a nice drive to Reading this morning, early bird, around 6.30am. Usual Bracknell 322, making good progress until the sainsbury lights where i moved to the far left lane as usual because it's normally clear, only for someone to pull across and sit in front of me. Cheek of it!

Pulled up behind to find an S4 Avant, dark metallic green, W plate, yippee!

He went, i went, after a bit he slowed to let me pass as presumably wanted to see what was filling his rear view. Hope he was equally happy to see his almost twin! Great coincidence!

We had a pleasant drive up the road a bit, but spent a fair bit of time held up by lane hoggers, at 6.30am!!

W9** **L, are you here?

Don.

Brake warning light has just come on so will be off to MRc to get some and a service at the same time.

Advice on brakes very welcome as the standard set up doesn't seem up to the job.

We have a spotters forum to your first post. Yes, there's a lot of brake upgrades out there, including B7 brakes, RS6 brakes, and other aftermarket kits. I run Porsche Cayenne brakes, for example (from the ECS Tuning Stage 4 front kit)

Coincidence.

What a coincidence:

Was off away on a boys weekend oop norf, and happened to be staying with a pal who has an Rs6, a couple of miles from Martin (Grizz) at unit 20.

Dropped the car off at 7pm (yes 7pm!) friday, collected Sunday lunchtime!

All serviced, health checked, new brakes all round and a few other minor bits. Job done!

Glad to report that Martin felt the car was in tip top condition and a very nice example, (even if it's metallic green), although we have a tiny bit of transmission slop ( gear stick moves a bit) which he'll look at next time.

can't fault the guy, great service and great value.

Saturday night is Huddersfield is a different story: You need to do it once in your lifetime, and only once! You'll remember it always!
